All of our animals are raised on pasture. What does this do to your food?
In a nutshell, you'll get more of the good stuff and less of the bad stuff.
Our animals graze and forage in a pastoral setting munching on grass, leaves, flowers and whatever else suits their fancy. We then supplement that twice per day with a high-protein feed to balance out their diet since they're hearty omnivores. Be prepared to experience rich, red pork that's exploding with flavor (nothing like "the other white meat" that factory farming has hoped we'd remain content with).
Because of this, pastured hogs give you less fat (despite the richness of the meat!) and more Vitamins A, E, and D.
In addition, you won't be feeding your family growth hormones, steroids or antibiotics because our animals have never touched 'em.
